The entire stable of John Force Racing Mustangs received a make-over during the NHRA off-season. Gone was the 25th anniversary look of John Force's Castrol High Mileage Mustang. The gleaming silver was replaced with the traditional green and white look that represented Force and Castrol GTX High Mileage for the previous 24 seasons. During the PRO Winter Warm-Up preseason event all three new designs were revealed and raced for the first time in 2011.

“I really like the new look. Everyone from our graphic design team to our painters did a great job. I think these hot rods look fast just sitting in the pits,” said team owner John Force. “When we got them out on the track they were some of the quickest Funny Cars of the weekend. Maybe it was that PPG Envirobased paint we have been using!”

All the Mustangs have a consistent look with Robert Hight's Auto Club Ford Mustang sporting AAA blue and Mike Neff's Castrol GTX Mustang carrying the traditional white, red and green look. Courtney Force's BrandSource Mustang will be redesigned to follow the motif of the other three JFR Funny Cars in coming weeks.

The John Force Racing Mustangs will open the season at the 51st annual NHRA Kragen O'Reilly Auto Parts Winternationals, Feb. 24, 2011 at Auto Club Raceway at Pomona.
