Oliver JarvisOliver Jarvis will race in the FIA GT1 World Championship this year, racing an Audi R8 LMS for WRT.

The Briton, who will also form part of Audi's factory sports car lineup with the R18 for selected races this year, forms part of a two-car GT effort. He will team up with former Le Mans winner Stephane Ortelli, ex-DTM racer Frank Stippler and F3 Euro Series race winner Laurens Vanthoor.

Team boss Vincent Vosse said: "This squad allows us to put an attractive and promising mix of drivers on the grid.

"International successes through to winning Le Mans, strong technical expertise, many years of professional racing experience, four drivers from four nations – these are optimum prerequisites for a team that works well together."

WRT has not yet decided how it will pair the four drivers up for the 10-round championship.

Audi also confirmed that the latest generation of its GT3 car will be called the R8 LMS ultra.
