Sebring 12 Hours winner Oliver Jarvis will return to the Phoenix Racing squad for this year's Blancpain Endurance Series.
Audi factory driver Jarvis has been placed with Phoenix, with which he raced in the DTM in 2008-'09, for the five-round BES, which includes the Spa 24 Hours in July. The 29-year-old will share one of two Phoenix Audi R8 LMS ultras with reigning BES champion Christopher Haase and former prototype driver Harold Primat.
Jarvis, who has a three-race program around the Le Mans 24 Hours as part of Audi's prototype squad this year, said: "This is a great second programme for me; there were other options, but this works well because it is endurance racing and I'm back with Phoenix. I hope I can add a few more races later in the year, but with all the testing before Le Mans, I am going to be pretty busy until June."
Jarvis has extensive experience in the R8 LMS after a season in the FIA GT1 World Championship with the WRT squad last season. He also won the GT class at the Rolex 24 at Daytona this past January at the wheel of an R8 GRAND-AM fielded by Alex Job Racing.
