Neel JaniFormer Champ Car driver and Red Bull Formula 1 test driver Neel Jani will join the Superleague Formula field at Portimao this weekend as part of a raft of driver switches.

The Swiss driver, who has competed in the Le Mans Series with Rebellion Racing this year, is moving into the Olympiacos seat this weekend in place of the injured Chris van der Drift. Ben Hanley had previously filled in for van der Drift at Adria.

The field is back up to 17 entries for the Portuguese event, with the return of Bordeaux and Sporting Lisbon, whose cars will be driven by series newcomer and former Spanish Formula 3 champion Maximo Cortes and former Olympique Lyonnais driver Celso Miguez, respectively.

Tristan Gommendy takes the latter's old seat, while Andy Soucek returns to replace Gommendy at Galatasaray.
