Nicolas Minassian has stepped down from driving duties in this weekend's Spa 1000km after complaining of pain in his right ribs during practice. The Frenchman's impromptu withdrawal means that Franck Montagny and Stephane Sarrazin will share driving duties between them in the No. 2 Peugeot 908 HDi FAP on Sunday.
Minassian experienced the pain during Friday's free practice sessions, though he sustained the strain injury at the Claire Fontaine sports training centre last week. He not broken any bones.
The 37-year-old finished second in the Sebring 12 Hours in March with Peugeot.
