MotoGP at IndianapolisIndianapolis Motor Speedway will remain on the MotoGP schedule for at least another three years after agreeing a new deal with championship commercial rights holder Dorna.

There had been some doubts over whether the famous speedway would keep its MotoGP date after the end of its initial contract, but agreement was reached during this weekend's San Marino Grand Prix. Indy has hosted MotoGP since 2008, when the motorcycling world championship took over the road course that had originally been constructed for Formula 1. The track was heavily revised for motorbike use, and is now run in the opposite direction to its F1 days.

MotoGP will also run at the new home of F1 in the U.S. – the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, starting next year.
