Nicky Hayden has undergone surgery on his right arm ahead of the next MotoGP test at Sepang later this month.
The American has an on-going issue with the arm known as arm-pump, or compartmental syndrome, which is common in riders. After leaving the recent test in Malaysia, he received a checkup in Spain and opted for a clean-up operation to remove scar tissue from a previous surgery.
He is now recovering at home and will take part in the next test with Ducati, which is at Sepang on Feb. 25-26.
