Brendon Hartley will return to the GP2 Series at Spa this weekend with the Ocean Racing Team. The 21-year-old Kiwi, who competed in two rounds for Coloni last year, has replaced Kevin Mirocha at the team and will partner regular driver Johnny Cecotto Jr.
"I am very enthusiastic and happy about the chance I have been given," Hartley said. "Last year I took part in two meetings of the championship but I think that the main difference is in the tires [which have switched from Bridgestone to Pirelli this year].
"The team is very professional and I know I can count on the engineers to help me best handle this adaptation. I know the Spa track well and my objective is to be competitive there."
Hartley, who currently lies seventh in the Formula Renault 3.5 standings, already has prior knowledge of the Ocean team after testing for it during the winter.
