Esteban Gutierrez was quickest in both GP3 test sessions at Valencia today.
The field was running on the region's permanent racetrack in preparation for its rounds on the city's streets as part of the European Grand Prix support bill next weekend.
ART driver Gutierrez beat British Formula 3 championship leader Jean-Eric Vergne (Tech 1) to the top spot by 0.2sec in the morning, and edged out Status driver Robert Wickens by just 0.004sec later on. Dean Smith was also within 0.09sec of the pacesetter in third place for Carlin.
