Pirelli World Challenge/WC Vision President and CEO Scott Bove today announced the hiring of Greg Gill as Vice President of Marketing and Communications. Gill was most recently the Vice President of Marketing with the National Auto Sport Association where he managed the expansion and growth of their membership publication Speed News. His corporate experience has been in the automotive media with senior management roles at Racer / SportsCar magazines and Primedia Enthusiast group.
“The Pirelli World Challenge Championship Series is committed to offering the best, most innovative and relevant road racing in North America. Greg joining our team is a reflection of that commitment to the growth of our series and development of its partners.” Bove stated. “Greg will head up our expanded marketing team as we build on our success of the past year.”
“The opportunity to join such a significant and successful series does not present itself often,” said Gill. “Pirelli World Challenge is a world-class racing organization. Our combination of fans, drivers, teams, marketing partners, and a great TV package with NBC Sports Network and IMS Productions leaves us uniquely positioned in North American motorsport. I am honored to be working on this team and look forward to delivering the best year in series history.”
