The GP3 series will race in Valencia again this year after organizers confirmed the Ricardo Tormo circuit has been added to the 2013 schedule.
Valencia's will be a standalone event in the eight-race season, with the series following the Formula 1 calendar for the other seven rounds. The Valencia race will take place on June 15-16.
The schedule for the race weekend includes a practice session on Saturday, with qualifying later on the same day. The two races will take place on Sunday. Valencia hosted a round of the GP3 series last year, but the event took place at the street circuit during the European Grand Prix.
"We are happy to announce that Valencia has been added to the calendar," said GP3 series boss Bruno Michel. "It will be the first time that the Series will race at Circuit de Ricardo Tormo.
"2013 promises to be a very strong season for GP3 with the introduction of the GP3/13 car, recording a lap time 4.2 seconds quicker than its previous generation on the same track. The driver lineup is probably the strongest we have ever had."
