ART Grand Prix's Sam Bird has been penalized for cutting the chicane in Friday's GP2 feature race in Monaco.
The Briton, who dropped from sixth to 15th in the race due to a problem during his pit stop, had 25 seconds added to his time, meaning that he will now start today's sprint race from 18th on the grid.
Drivers are permitted one "free" trip across the chicane during a race, but risk being penalized if they shortcut the corner repeatedly.
