ELKHART LAKE, Wisc. (June 9, 2009) -- The Chicago Region SCCA 54th Annual June Sprints® will run from June 19th to the 21st, and GoRacingTV.com will be there to cover all of the action from the green flag to the drop of the checkered for each racing class.

The event will be held at Wisconsin’s Road America, a 4.048-mile, 14-turn road course located between Milwaukee and Green Bay, and the running of the event at this track has special significance since the SCCA National Championship Runoffs will be held at that same location later in the year. The June Sprints is considered to be part of the Chicago Region’s Triple Crown® of racing, earned by winning a class in the June Sprints, winning a home Division’s national points championship and winning the Runoffs.

“This is going to be a monumental event not only due to the significance of what the June Sprints means to SCCA competitors as part of the Triple Crown, but also because this is the first time the Sprints will be videoed and rebroadcasted for the world to view,” GoRacingTV.com Producer Errol Tucker said. “We will bring the action directly to the viewers’ monitors from cameras strategically placed around the track, along with video from in-car cameras, as well as car data overlaid onto the video.” Viewers will also have the ability to view a scrolling running order of track position.

It's a celebration of everything that makes American road racing great -- huge fields of thundering cars around the country's most spectacular racing circuit and 500 drivers competing for the Triple Crown® -- and GoRacingTV.com will bring all of the action directly to your computer. GoRacingTV will also conduct interviews with participants throughout the weekend.

GoRacingTV.com began airing episodes of its bi-weekly, web-based video shows in February of this year, but has quickly become the site where club racers can obtain updated information and news related to the amateur racing community.

GoRacingTV.com, along with co-sponsors; Traqmate, GoPro Camera, MK Technologies, ESS Emergency Suppression Systems, Team DI, Royal Purple and Defnder are enthused to be a part of this exciting project.
