Timo Glock will have a five-place grid penalty for the Italian Grand Prix after his team opened up his gearbox to change the differential following final practice.
Virgin Racing had to break a seal on Glock's gearbox to replace the differential, which is a breach of F1's technical regulations. Glock will therefore lose five places on the grid for the Monza event.
