Francois MigaultFormer Formula 1 and Le Mans racer Francois Migault has died at the age of 67.

The Frenchman made his first F1 appearances with the Connew team in 1972, before being signed by BRM in '74. A 14th-place finish in his home grand prix was the best result of what turned out to be his sole complete season in F1.

Though Migault would reappear in F1 briefly with outings with the Hill and Williams teams in 1975, the majority of the rest of his career would be spent in sports cars, as he became a long-time Le Mans regular.

Migault finished on the overall Le Mans podium three times, taking third in 1974 and '81, and a career best of second in '76. He continued racing at Le Mans into his fifties, making a final appearance in 2002.
