Force India has opted to remove its blown diffuser for the remainder of this weekend's Hungarian Grand Prix after inconclusive results during Friday's free practice sessions.
The Silverstone-based team became the latest outfit to try out the blown diffuser on its car -- with Ferrari, Mercedes GP, Renault and Williams all having introduced their designs over the last few races. However, with Force India not feeling that the update had delivered it enough of a step forward, the team has opted to revert to its normal floor for the remainder of the Hungaroring weekend.
Sutil said after Friday practice that the early impressions of the blown diffuser were encouraging, but that more development work was needed.
"It was all working as it should be, but it is early stages in the development," Sutil said. "We can tune it much more but we need more time for that."
