Force India's weekend will go ahead as normal, despite drama this morning when German police tried to impound the team's assets following a contractual dispute.

Just before first practice for the German Grand Prix, a number of uniformed officials arrived at the team's motorhome to try and impound it and the team's cars and equipment in a payment dispute relating to the quality of the team's motorhome

The matter was resolved by Force India officials, which means there will be no further interruptions to the team's weekend.

Giancarlo Fisichella and Adrian Sutil were duly able to take part in first practice - with Fisichella going on to set the fifth quickest time.
