Emerson Fittipaldi is to be the drivers' representative on the stewards' panel at the Canadian Grand Prix.
The former world champion has been drafted in to offer advice to the three other members of the panel - Lars Osterlind, Enzo Spano and Roger Peart.
Fittipaldi's presence is part of the ongoing move by the FIA to utilise a former driver to offer expert advice on on-track incidents.
Other drivers who have helped out so far this year include Alain Prost, Damon Hill, Johnny Herbert, and Alexander Wurz.
