Motorcycling ruling body has confirmed the Japanese Grand Prix will take place in October after it was forced to postpone it because of the volcano eruption in Iceland.
The race, the second round of the championship, was scheduled for the upcoming weekend, but the air traffic chaos in Europe has obliged the Grand Prix Permanent Bureau to postpone it.
FIM said on Monday that the Motegi race will be rescheduled for Oct. 3.
