Luca Filippi will stay on with Coloni for the next GP2 event at Spa after his recent success with the Italian squad.
Filippi made what was initially planned as a one-off move from former team Super Nova for the Nurburgring, and ended up winning the feature race. He stayed on for Hungary and qualified on the front row. Now Coloni has confirmed that the 26-year-old Italian will line up alongside Michael Herck again in Belgium next weekend.
Team boss Paolo Coloni said: ""The team arrives in Spa charged-up and confident that our luck has changed.
"The first part of the season was tough, [Davide] Rigon's injury forced us to change our plans but working hard together we managed to overcome all the odds and clinch some great results. I'm very proud of how the team reacted to all the bad luck we had, they deserve to be praised for that."
