Extreme Speed Motorsports is expanding its sports car portfolio with running a Ferrari 458 in Grand-Am Rolex Series' new North American Endurance Championship.
ESM, which runs two Tequila Patron-backed Ferrari 458 Italias in the American Le Mans Series' GT class, will run the 50th anniversary Rolex 24 at Daytona for its debut, and will run its other two races at the six-hour Watkins Glen and three-hour Indianapolis rounds.
Driver lineups were not specified, but should feature the team's ALMS regulars of team principal Scott Sharp, Patron Spirits president/CEO Ed Brown, Johannes van Overbeek and Guy Cosmo.
The team has one car, No. 03, listed in Rolex Series' list of car numbers. It will be a Grand-Am specification 458 in the team's similar black and green Patron livery.
