Albert Costa, EPICFormula Renault 3.5 and Formula Renault 2.0 team Epsilon Euskadi will change its name to EPIC Racing. The Spanish-based team's rechristening refers to a new lineup of partners and stands for: Euskadi Phil Imanol Claudio.

Former Honda Formula 1 technician Claudio Corradini will act as EPIC's Formula Renault 3.5 team manager, with Imanol Zubikarai overseeing the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup team. Phil Payne will head the financial staff.

The team, founded by former Prost and Benetton F1 team manager Joan Villadelprat, won the inaugural Formula Renault 3.5 title with Robert Kubica in 2005. Further victories followed with current Audi DTM driver Filipe Albuquerque and Lotus F1 reserve driver Davide Valsecchi in 2007

The team has set competitive times during extensive testing with Albert Costa this winter. Former Auto GP race victor Adrien Tambay, 2010 FR3.5 double winner Sten Pentus and European Formula 3 Open driver Emmanuel Piget have sampled EPIC's second car.
