EJ Viso will test for Dreyer & Reinbold Racing next week at Sebring International Raceway. The team says it has no firm plans to run the 24-year-old Venezuelan beyond that, but team boss Dennis Reinbold hinted it was possible.

"This time of year you always explore options and, of course, we are still interested in re-signing our drivers from last year as well, said the team's co-owner. "The opportunity to run EJ in this test is exciting to us. He is a young driver with a lot of talent that we have gotten to know over the last couple of years."

Viso raced with with HVM Racing for the past two seasons, but although he has shown impressive speed on occasion, results have been hard to come by. He had one top-10 finish this past season.

"This is a great opportunity to interact with the engineers and other team members," Viso said. "The Dreyer & Reinbold team has a very experienced staff. I have been on the Sebring track in the past. It is a bumpy circuit, but the weather is usually good in December, and I am sure it will be a very positive test. I am very happy to get back in the car, and want to thank the team for this opportunity. I cannot wait to get to the track."

Dreyer & Reinbold's regular driver this year, Briton Mike Conway, took part in this week's Formula 1 test of young drivers at Jerez for Brawn-Mercedes, although he says he still plans to return for a second season of Indy cars.
