Bernie Ecclestone continues to press his case for new F1 venues, including the USA and Russia – even if it means a couple of the current grands prix have to fall by the wayside to make room for them. The F1 commercial rights manager told the
Bloomberg news agency that there are three potential sites for a race outside Manhattan, while Moscow or the resort city of Sochi are the possible venues for a Russian GP.
"We'll make a decision in the next couple of months" on the locations, said Ecclestone. "We're going to lose some races for sure – there are some races we can afford to lose without too much problem."
