DurangoDurango has been sidelined from this weekend's GP2 Series rounds at Monza after Stefano Coletti withdrew due to the effects of his accident at Spa two weeks ago.

The team was already down to one entry going into the weekend, with Coletti having taken over the car of Nelson Panciatici after his own was too badly damaged in the Spa crash to be used.

The Monagasque driver had suffered a compressed spine and bruising to his feet when he was pitched head-on into the barriers at Eau Rouge, but was declared fit to race following a successful test in a Formula 3000 car during the week.

However recurring pain during scrutineering on Thursday evening forced the 20-year-old to step aside, and the team was left with no time to arrange a replacement.

Durango, which won the sprint race at Monza last year with Davide Valsecchi, plans to return for the season finale in Portugal next weekend.
