Dunlop will be the control tire supplier for the new Moto3 series that replaces the 125cc world championship on the grand prix motorcycle racing calendar next year. The tire maker has also extended its deal with Moto2 through 2014, the same date that its Moto3 contract runs to.
Dunlop Motorsport's general manager Jean-Felix Bazelin said: "Moto3 is an exciting new championship for Dunlop, our engineers and technicians. We relish the new challenge, and look forward to the progress in our understanding as we develop tires for the new 250cc four-stroke powered racing machines.
"The extension of our Moto2 contract is a strong validation of the good job we have done in that championship, the results of which are clear to see.
