All of the pit crew members involved in yesterday's pitlane accident during the first IndyCar practice session in Toronto have escaped serious injury and have been released from the hospital.

Dragon Racing crew members Chuck Homan and Raffi Aroyan were taken to St. Michaels' hospital to have leg and ankle injuries evaluated after they were hit by the Dale Coyne Racing car of Justin Wilson, but the series has confirmed that neither suffered any broken bones, and that both have now been released.

Two other pit crew members, Daniel Martin (Dragon) and Michael Cole (Dale Coyne Racing) were cleared after a medical assessment at the circuit's infield medical center yesterday.

The accident was caused by a mechanical problem on Wilson's car that prevented him from being able to select neutral as he was entering his pit bay, which was immediately behind where the Dragon team were working on Sebastien Bourdais' car. The Briton attempted to avoid the mechanics by steering the car towards the pit wall, but was unable to prevent the team members from being hit.
