Scott Dixon will make an appearance in one of Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates' Daytona Prototypes for the second time this season. Three-fourths of the drivers that were in the No. 02 car at this year's Rolex 24 at Daytona - Dixon, Jamie McMurray and Juan Pablo Montoya – will comprise the lineup in CGR's second DP at this weekend's Brickyard Grand Prix at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course.
All three are former Brickyard winners on the oval, McMurray having won the 2010 Brickyard 400 with Montoya and Dixon former Indianapolis 500 champions (2000 and 2008, respectively).
The team's Chevron Riley-BMW brings the DP entrant count to 11 cars, with 23 GTs set to run alongside in the series' inaugural race at the Speedway.
