Paul di Resta will sit out practice for the Japanese Grand Prix once again, his Force India team confirmed on Friday.
The Scot had to watch from the sidelines in Singapore in order for the racing drivers to get valuable track time, and that will be the case again at Suzuka next week. Adrian Sutil and Tonio Liuzzi will again be evaluating new updates for their cars on Friday's practice sessions.
"It's such an important time in the year that we need to play the team game and give ourselves every advantage we can," said di Resta. "Plus the team will have some new aero tweaks to try out so Adrian and Tonio need the time to get used to them and give some feedback for the race."
