Simona de Silvestro is set to return to HVM for a second season in the IZOD IndyCar Series in 2011.
HVM has announced that it will hold a press conference with de Silvestro in Baltimore on Monday to reveal full details of its '11 program. Team boss Keith Wiggins hinted last month that HVM had secured significant new backing to ensure that de Silvestro could stay on.
"We've signed a multi-year agreement with a sponsor to secure Simona's future," Wiggins told SPEED.com
Atlantic Championship graduate de Silvestro impressed during her IndyCar rookie campaign in 2010, particularly with her speed on road courses. She finished in the top 10 in Toronto and at Lexington, and qualified seventh at Edmonton, where she ran with the frontrunners before being punted into a spin.
