Ford Performance Racing monopolised the leading positions in qualifying for the second leg of V8 Supercars' Hidden Valley round.
Will Davison won a late pole shoot-out with his FPR teammate Mark Winterbottom to take the top spot by 0.1681 seconds, as David Reynolds in the third FPR entry jumped to third. The result made it two poles from two qualifying sessions for Davison this weekend.
Reigning champion Jamie Whincup had put his Triple Eight Holden on provisional pole with just a minute remaining, only for the FPR surge to push him back to fourth.
Whincup's teammate Craig Lowndes will start sixth, as a superb lap from Tekno's Michael Patrizi split the Triple Eight cars.
