JR Motorsports wants its No. 7 NASCAR Nationwide Series entry to run a full schedule, whether Danica Patrick is available to drive it or not. The No. 7 Chevrolet was only scheduled to run 13 events this season with Danica Patrick, but team co-owner and crew chief Tony Eury Jr. said Monday that the team is trying to put together a program for all of the races.

"The bottom line is the No. 7 car is too good not to be at the racetrack," Eury Jr. told Sports Illustrated. "Our goal at JR Motorsports has always been to have two full-time Nationwide Series teams competing every week."

Scott Wimmer will replace Patrick in JR's No. 7 Chevy this weekend at Bristol. Patrick is not scheduled to race the car again until June at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
