In the midst of her split season between IndyCar and NASCAR Nationwide race outings, Danica Patrick told the Indianapolis Star that she still plans to do the same again next year, before deciding on whether Indy cars or stock cars will be her future.
"I'm going to do a schedule like this for this year and next year, and then we'll see," Patrick told the Star. "It may be one, it may be the other. I'm not quite sure. I've been lucky in my career that whatever I've wanted has been available to me."
Patrick will focus on IndyCars for the balance of the IZOD IndyCar Series season, but will contest the final six Nationwide races after the open-wheel season ends Oct. 2. In her five NASCAR starts thus far, her best finish is 24th two weeks ago at Chicagoland Speedway.
