ESPN Insider reports that Danica Patrick and her agents at IMG are asking for $8 million for eight races in NASCAR Nationwide and possibly ARCA RE/MAX Series events. Patrick, whose personal sponsor GoDaddy.com is also affiliated with JR Motorsports' NASCAR team co-owned by Rick Hendrick and Dale Earnhardt Jr., has been linked with that team as well as Michael Waltrip Racing for a similar limited schedule of NASCAR events in 2010, although it remains to be seen whether sufficient sponsorship could be raised to cover her asking price.
