Jerome D'Ambrosio and Timo Glock, Virgin, 2011Jerome d'Ambrosio has been handed a five-place grid penalty for the Turkish Grand Prix after ignoring yellow flags in second practice.

The Virgin Racing driver was deemed not to have slowed down when Pastor Maldonado spun his car at the exit of Turn 8. The stewards studied the video evidence of the incident and deemed that d'Ambrosio was in breach of the regulations.

The penalty will almost certainly mean that d'Ambrosio will start from the back of the grid, with the Belgian having yet to make it out of Q1 so far this season.
