Jerome D'AmbrosioRenault is to run Jerome D'Ambrosio and Mikhail Aleshin in the young driver tests in Abu Dhabi following this weekend's grand prix.

Russian driver Aleshin earned his Formula 1 outing as his prize for winning this year's Formula Renault 3.5 title. He has already had a run in a 2008 car as a reward for being the championship leader at the season's halfway point.

D'Ambrosio was named as a Renault reserve and test driver along with Ho-Pin Tung, his DAMS GP2 teammate, and FR3.5 and Auto GP racer Jan Charouz at the start of the year, and has been granted the Abu Dhabi test for being the most successful of the trio this season.

The Belgian already has F1 experience having driven for Virgin in Friday practice at the last four grands prix, and has been strongly linked with a 2011 race seat at John Booth's team.
