America's Conor Daly will join Pal Varhaug at new team Hilmer Motorsport for this weekend's GP2 Series season opener in Malaysia.
Both drivers are race winners in GP3, with Varhaug winning the championship's inaugural round in 2010 and Daly taking a victory on his way to sixth in the championship with ART last year.
Daly is currently without a full-time program for 2013, having tested with A.J. Foyt's IndyCar team this winter as well as GP3 and GP2.
Varhaug has also been in GP2 testing action, marking a return to the category where he was Romain Grosjean's teammate when the current Lotus Formula 1 driver won the championship in 2011.
