Antonio Felix da Costa Antonio Felix da Costa will race in the GP3 Series with the Status Grand Prix this year, the team has announced.

The 19-year-old, who took part in Formula 1's young drivers test in Abu Dhabi last year, enjoyed a strong season in the F3 Euro Series in 2010 and will now join Alexander Sims at Status GP. Da Costa made his GP3 debut last summer when he raced at Hungaroring and Spa with Carlin.

"Antonio is a very impressive young driver, with a combination of maturity and speed that makes him a definite title contender," said Status GP team principal Teddy Yip. "We are delighted he is joining our team."

Da Costa added: "I am very happy to take part in the GP3 Series this season. I know that Status GP will be the right team to help me to fight for podiums and the championship title."
