Cal Crutchlow says Pramac Ducati rider Hector Barbera cost him a front-row start for the Dutch TT after blocking him in qualifying.
Tech 3 Yamaha's Crutchlow will start fifth for the Assen race.
"Not happy at all this afternoon!" Crutchlow wrote on his Twitter feed. "We should have been on the front row but as per usual Hector Barbera is pissing about on track!
"Wrecked my lap when I only had enough time for one at the end with the mayhem.
"This guy cannot ride alone and is always towing, then cruises on the line.
"Oh well, other than that we have some work to do with settings for tomorrow but hopefully we will find something. Happy enough though with pace."
Crutchlow admitted that his ankle injury continues to trouble him, and is aiming for a top-six finish in Saturday's grand prix.
Although works Yamaha team leader Jorge Lorenzo only qualified third, Crutchlow expects the Spaniard to be unbeatable in the race.
"It will be a tough race with the ankle injury and fighting with Jorge is going to be incredibly difficult," said Crutchlow. "He's got an amazing pace but I am doing the best job I can and will be looking to finish in the top six."
