Brazilian Nicola Costa is the latest driver to join the Ferrari Driver Academy. The 19-year-old from Rio de Janeiro won the Formula Future Fiat championship last weekend and thus will become a part of Ferrari's training program for young drivers. The championship, created this season, is backed by Felipe Massa.
"All drivers would love to drive a Ferrari and I still cannot believe what has happened," said Costa. "Being able to count on the backing of such a professional team is a dream come true."
Costa joins Jules Bianchi, Sergio Perez, Daniel Zampieri, Mirko Bortolotti, Brandon Maisano, Raffaele Marciello and Lance Stroll in the Academy.
