Roger YasukawaRoger Yasukawa will make his now-annual return to the IndyCar Series for the next round at Motegi, driving for Conquest Racing for the second year in a row.

The Japanese-American driver has not contested a full season since racing for Dreyer & Reinbold in 2005, but returned for the Indianapolis 500 in 2006/'07 and has since secured one-off deals for Motegi each year.

"I have not driven an Indy car for a year now, but I am very confident that the team will give me a strong car," said Yasukawa. "I have worked with several crew members of the No. 36 car in the past, so it shouldn't take too long to gel with the team."

Yasukawa will be the fourth driver to race Conquest's second entry this season. Mario Romancini contested the first 11 rounds before losing the seat to Francesco Dracone, who was then replaced by Tomas Scheckter for Chicagoland and Kentucky.
