Tomas ScheckterTomas Scheckter will stay with Conquest Racing for this weekend's IndyCar Series round at Kentucky, following his debut with the team at Chicagoland last week.

The South African qualified 17th but retired in an accident after just five laps last Saturday night, but will continue at the team, in place of Francesco Dracone, for at least one more race.

"I'm looking forward to Kentucky," said Scheckter. "It will be great to drive for Conquest again and to continue what we started last week. We had a good first weekend together at Chicagoland, despite the early retirement from the race, and I really enjoyed working with everyone on the team."

Conquest boss Eric Bachelart added: "We're very happy to have Tomas back with us at Kentucky. Sadly, his race was short-lived at Chicagoland, but in the little time he had in the car over the weekend he did an excellent job. His experience on ovals was of great help to the team."
