Conor Daly tested an Andretti Autosport-prepared Indy Lights car at the Putnam Park road course on Wednesday. The Star Mazda champ, who also tested an Indy Lights car last month in addition to taking part in GP3 testing in Europe, tested the car at the invitation of the Andretti team.
"Although it was a late decision" said AA managing director JF Thorman, "after a mighty impressive 2010 season in Star Mazda, we wanted to give him a run in our Lights car as soon as the opportunity presented itself."
Daly completed 225 trouble-free miles as he worked through a variety of setups.
"I want to stay active in as many racecars as possible now that the race season is over," said Daly. "Andretti Autosport is an impressive winning team and I want to thank them for this awesome opportunity.
