British driver Ben Collins has signed to contest the end of season V8 Supercar endurance events with Kelly Racing.

The 34-year-old sportscar regular and stunt driver will share a Holden Commodore with Nathan Pretty at the Bathurst 1000km and the preceding 500km race at Phillip Island.

Collins tested a V8 Supercar as part of a feature for AUTOSPORT magazine earlier this year, and is looking forward to racing it for the first time.

"Phillip Island and Bathurst are two circuits that every driver would love to get the chance to race on, especially Bathurst, which is such a famous race," he said.

"I drove a Holden V8 Supercar earlier this year and these cars are sensational. They're very demanding and the level of talent and professionalism in this category is very high."

Brothers Todd and Rick Kelly will pair up in the team's lead car.
