Houston Region SCCA Plans a Weekend of “Fun in the Sun”

HOUSTON, Texas (July 31, 2009) - The Houston Region Sports Car Club of America is hosting the “Fun in the Sun Double National” Club Racing event on August 8-9, at MSR Houston. In addition to the final National races of the Southwest Division’s 2009 season, the weekend will benefit The Sunshine Kids Foundation, a national non-profit organization dedicated to children with cancer. “We are hoping to cap off a great National racing season with some fun for the Sunshine Kids,” Sydney Davis, race chairman, said.

(May 1, 2009) – More than 400 drivers at three separate events will vie for an opportunity to complete one leg of the SCCA Club Racing Super Sweep this weekend, as the National Racing season hits full swing, with six of the nine divisions holding events.
