Dan Clarke is to rejoin Team Great Britain from this weekend's A1GP races in Algarve, Portugal, replacing Danny Watts.
The former Champ Car racer had previously driven for GBR at the Taupo event, which Watts had to miss due to the birth of his first child.
Watts then returned for Kyalami, but Clarke has now reclaimed the seat for this weekend's Portimao races and expects to stay on longer term.
"It's brilliant to be back with A1 Team GBR," said Clarke, "and it's great that we are planning for a long-term relationship together into season five and beyond.
"I've got loads to learn and I'm looking forward to the last three races of the season and working with the talented team of engineers and mechanics we have here.
"We need to start putting together some really solid results, so we can get back to Team A1 GBR's winning ways as soon as possible."
Team GBR is only 10th in the A1GP standings at present. The squad had to start the season late due to the delays in completing A1GP's new generation car, and although Watts delivered two podiums and a pole position on his debut in China, the team has been unable to get back into the top six since then, with Clarke struggling in the midfield on his previous appearance at Taupo.
IndyCar Series regulars Robert Doornbos and Firestone Indy Lights driver Ana Beatriz will also cross the Atlantic Ocean to compete at Algarve. Andretti will make his fifth start for Team USA, while Doornbos will make his third start for Team Netherlands. Beatriz is the rookie driver for the practice sessions for Team Brazil.
