Indian Karun Chandhok will be sent to the back of the Spanish Grand Prix grid after a penalty.

Chandhok will be given a five-place grid penalty after his HRT team was forced to replace the gearbox of his car after qualifying. The Hispania driver had qualified in 23rd position, ahead of teammate Bruno Senna.

Both Virgin drivers and Renault's Vitaly Petrov had also been given five-place grid penalties.
