Ryan Hunter-Reay and Helio Castroneves – 1-2 on the time sheet the first day of the IZOD IndyCar Series Open Test at Sebring International Raceway – swapped spots during the morning session of day 2.
Castroneves, driving the No. 3 Team Penske car, had a quick lap of 52.3901sec (114.755mph) on the 1.67-mile, 11-turn circuit as drivers prepare for the season-opening St. Petersburg street course. Simon Pagenaud was again third for Sam Schmidt/Davey Hamilton Motorsports – the only non-Chevrolet runner in the top five, as Team Penske's Will Power and Ryan Briscoe followed.
Testing continues for the first group of drivers this afternoon. The second group of drivers will test at Sebring on Thursday and Friday.
