Italian Formula 3 frontrunner Francesco Castellacci will race Manor Motorsport's fourth Dallara-Mercedes in this weekend's Masters of Formula 3 at Zandvoort.

The 22-year-old Italian, who lies sixth in this season's Italian F3 championship - racing for Manor's F3 Euro Series rival Prema Powerteam - replaces Briton Jon Lancaster in the squad's line-up alongside Cesar Ramos, Roberto Merhi and Pedro Enrique.

Team boss John Booth said: "The idea was originally to run Jon for the Masters and then the rest of the season, but his [contractual] problems with [rival squad] SG have prevented that and he's right to turn his attention to [Renault] World Series.

"Francesco is doing well in Italy and approached us a while ago actually. It's going to be a tough weekend for three rookies, but it's a good opportunity for them to learn."
