Loris Capirossi, Suzuki, Sepang 2010Loris Capirossi has been given the all-clear to compete in Malaysian Grand Prix qualifying after his crash at the start of practice this morning.

The Italian did not set a time in practice following a dramatic high-side at Turn 12 on his out-lap.

He landed heavily and had difficulty getting up in the run-off, so was taken to the medical center on a stretcher.

However Capirossi's injuries are confined to bruising to his right foot, so he will be able to ride the Suzuki in qualifying later today.

While the 2005 Sepang winner had to sit out this morning's session, his teammate Alvaro Bautista continued Suzuki's promising Malaysian form by taking sixth place – having been fifth yesterday.
